Ida D. Elliott

Ida D. Elliott, 95, of Hahira, GA passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Langdale Hospice House due to complications arising from a short illness. She was born on February 14, 1922 in Walsenburg, Colorado to Albert R. and Ida D. Williams as the youngest of twelve children. Throughout her lifetime, Ida served the public in many different jobs and professions throughout the United States. Ida was a very active, strong-willed and independent person who was especially proud of her grandchildren.
Her survivors include one son, two daughters, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her faithful and loyal four-legged companion Chloe; and a host of nephews, nieces and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by one son, one grandson, nine brothers, two sisters, numerous in-laws and three husbands. In her ninety five years, Ida was a friend to many, a parent and teacher, and truly a survivor.
