Ida Bell Williams

Ida Bell Williams, 95, of Hahira, GA passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. She was born on November 7, 1926 to the late John Phillip and Texas Virginia Noles Whittle in Adel, GA. She loved cooking, listening to gospel music, sewing, canning and catfish. She deeply loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, W.C. Williams (Joann), Chris Williams, Raymond Williams; and one daughter-in-law, Kathi Williams; her daughters and sons-in-law, Diane Massey (Steven), Lorraine Rasmussen (Charles), and Sherri Martin (Mark); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; her husband, Carlos Williams Sr.; her children, John Williams, Thomas Williams, Judy Buwa, and Evelyn Bailey; and her daughters-in-law and sons-in-law, Penny Williams, Janet Williams, Michael Buwa, and Terry Bailey.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 11-12pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel with the service following at 12 Noon. Reverend Robert Dawson will officiate. Burial will follow at Welcome Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to Chris’ house following the graveside service.
