Howard Wayne Farmer

Wayne Farmer, 76, of Lake Park died on Friday, December 17, 2021. He was born in Valdosta on December 30, 1944 to the late John C. and Estelle Redish Farmer. He worked as a general manager for several natural gas companies nd was in the Army Reserves for 7 years. Wayne was a handyman who loved to catch and eat fish, woodworking, and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann Farmer, of Lake Park, GA; his daughter and son in law, , Lisa & Dr. L.D. Pridgen, of Lake Park, GA; his son and daughter in law, Mike & Melanie Farmer, of Steinhatchee, FL; his grandchildren, Corey & Jenna Welch, of Hahira, GA, Brenna & John Schuler, of Longs, SC; his great grandchildren, Noah Welch, of Hahira, GA, Kensley Welch, of Hahira, GA, Nathan Welch, of Hahira, GA, Kaden Welch, of Hahira, GA, Skylar Schuler, of Longs, SC; his sisters and brothers in law, Ruby & Melvin Lastinger, of Valdosta, GA, Jeanette Parkman, of Augusta, GA, and Carolyn & Jack O’Howell, of Valdosta, GA, sister in law, Gwennette Farmer of Valdosta, sisters in law and brothers in law, Joan & Skip Gibson, of Valdosta, GA; Shirley and Tommy Harnage of Macon, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents, his infant daughter, Dena Michelle Farmer; his granddaughter, Lindsey Ann Welch; his brother, Harry Farmer.
