Howard P. Beals

Howard P. Beals, 78, of Lake Park died Saturday, September 22, 2012. He was born on January 17, 1934 in Lanse, Pennsylvania to the late Orlando and Helen Smith Beals. Mr. Beals attended the Lake Park Church of Christ and was a retired Air Traffic Controller with Greater Pittsburg Airport. He was a veteran having served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include four sons and daughters in law, Howard Paul, Jr. and Tasha Beals of Omaha, NE, Scott L. and Susan Beals of Niceville, Fl, Todd L. and Karen Beals of Jamestown, NY, Kevin L. and Shelley Beals of Lake Park, his grandchildren, Courtney A. Beals, Lauren Beals Whetstone, Courtney M. Beals, Travis Beals, Breanna Beals Newton, Brandon Beals, Chelsea Beals, Meagan Beals, Brett Beals, two great grandchildren, Avery Whetstone and Hunter Whetstone. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Betty Lee Quigg Beals and seven brothers and a sister of Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Harmony Baptist Church, 1022 NW County Road 150, Madison, FL 32340. Burial with military honors will follow in the Harmony Cemetery. Rev. Robert Dawson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-7pm at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home, 3119 W.
