Howard N. Broomberg

Howard N. Broomberg, 76, of Jefferson, GA and formerly of Valdosta died Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 19, 1939 to the late Jack and Ida Vidro Broomberg and had lived in Valdosta for many years before moving to Jefferson thirty years ago. Mr. Broomberg was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired contractor.
Survivors include his special partner, Darlene Bradford of Jefferson; his children and their spouses, Craig and Shari Broomberg of Jupiter, FL, Stacy Broomberg of Valdosta, Jaret and Leigh Broomberg of Lake Park; grandchildren, Cole Broomberg and Marleigh Broomberg; brother and sister in law, Marvin and Debbie Broomberg of Valdosta; sister and brother in law, Marsha and Carl Bogo of Augusta, GA; his former wife and the mother of his children, Carolyn Broomberg of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister in law, Sheldon and Estelle Broomberg of Valdosta.
Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m.-Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Rabbi Moshe Elbaz officiating.
