Helen Tomberlin Millirons, 80, of Hahira died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Heritage Healthcare at Lakehaven. She was born on August 9, 1929 in Nashville to the late Bernice and Susie Brantley Tomberlin and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Millirons was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church and retired as the office manager for Ameri-Gas after thirty years of service.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Lynn and Ricky Cooper of Hahira, two grandsons, Brian Herndon and Dewayne Chance both of Valdosta, four brothers and sisters in law, Jimmy and Ernestine Tomberlin of Cairo, Robert and Janet Tomberlin of Birmingham, Ala., Wayne and Mae Tomberlin of Nashville, Billy and Joanne Tomberlin of Illinois and longtime special friends, Barbara and Dave Porter of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J. Millirons.
Graveside services will be held at 3pm, Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Shiloh Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Howard officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7pm the funeral home.
