Helen "Pam-Pam" Eunice Copeland Hamm, 77, of Dasher died Friday, November 5, 2010 at Smith Northview Hospital. She was born in Dasher on March 28, 1933 to the late George Wilkes and Tilford Eunice Jones Copeland. Mrs. Hamm completed 12 years of school and graduated from Dasher Bible School. She was a member of the Dasher Church of Christ. She enjoyed attending Georgia Christian School Basketball games and camping with her husband. Mrs. Hamm loved spoiling her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her beloved dog, Daisy. She was an Atlanta Braves Fan, an Avon representative and had served as postmaster at Dasher. Mrs. Hamm was an avid collector of Pigs and her home was filled with Pig memorabilia.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Ralph Hamm of Dasher, her children and spouses, Patsy Hamm and Michael Black, Barbara Hamm and Larry Bundrick, Mike and Tammy Hamm all of Dasher, Linda Guess of Williston, Fla., son in love, Kevin Guess of Valdosta, grandchildren, Renee Bennett of Dasher, Greg (Rayla) Black of Montgomery, Ala., Jason (Kristy) Black of Dasher, Clayton Black of Dasher, April (Charles) Hilton of Valdosta, Chris (Melissa) Bundrick of Dasher, Tammi (Ben) Carter of Lake Park, Barbie (Jeremy) Noland of Dasher, Heather and Hope Bundrick of Dasher, Vince (Analiese) Hamm of Jennings, Fla., Danielle (Matthew) Mitten of Baltimore, MD., Cody (Lindsey) Hamm of Lake Park, Joielle McDowell of Dasher, Rhett Hamm of Dasher, Klint (Jessica) Guess of Tifton, Allan (Rachel) Guess of Huntsville, Ala. and Danielle Guess of Valdosta, great grandchildren, Brooke, Brandon and Taylor Bennett, Tucker, Kyra, Jaci, Karsyn and Braylon Black, Alexandra, Helen, Aubree and Allisyn Bundrick, Harley Carter, Trey Hilton, Landon and Ella Noland, Kelsey and Emma Quittins, Milly McDowell, Granger Hamm, Justin, Ethan, Taylor and Sophia Rae Guess, sisters and brothers in law, Bernice Copeland Pollock of Valdosta, Mary Copeland and Willis Stewart, Ann Copeland and Wayne Stewart all of Hinesville, sister in law, Marion Copeland of Lake Park, foreign exchange grandchildren, Nam Kiatvinyu of Thailand, Felix Franke of Germany, Veit Strittmatter of Germany, Jenny Lee, Hannah Jang, Joceyln Kim all of South Korea and Jennifer Tretzmuller of Austria and faithful friend, Anne Kitching of McClenny, Florida. , She was preceded in death by two brothers, G. Wilkes Copeland and J. T. Copeland, two sisters and three brothers in law, Marjorie Copeland and John I. Tomlinson, Virginia Copeland and Dan Crapps and James Pollock.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, November 7, 2010 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Dasher Cemetery. Mr. Michael Black, Mr. David Nelson, Mr. Larry Bundrick, Mr. Bryan Jarvis, Mr. Charles White and Rev. James Schappaugh will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the George and Eunice Copeland Scholarship Fund at Georgia Christian School. The family received friends on Saturday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
