Helen Cecile Zeiler

Helen Cecile Cohen Zeiler, 89, of Valdosta, died Monday, March 21, 2011 at Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born on June 2, 1921 in Macon, GA to the late Barney Morris Cohen and Edith Perlman Cohen. Mrs. Zeiler was a homemaker and was of the Jewish faith. She sang for the USO and was a member of Hadassah Sisterhood.

She is survived by her son, Michael Singer of Valdosta, two daughters, Janet L. Fulton of Valdosta and Cynthia D. Register of Lakeland, GA, her granddaughter, Amanda L. Fulton of Valdosta, her brother, Harold F. Cohen of Valdosta, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins among whom are Cindy and Danny Ziegler and their children Ben and Blair of Atlanta. Mrs. Zeiler is preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Singer and her second husband, Morris Zeiler and her brother, Arnold Cohen.
