Helen Burnette Sutton

HELEN BURNETTE SUTTON, 83, of Valdosta died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the home of her sister in Savannah, Georgia. She was born on June 18, 1923 in Howell, Georgia to the late Bryant and Lona Lewis Burnette and had lived in Valdosta most of her life. Mrs. Sutton was a beautician and a Baptist.

Survivors include her sisters, Frances Copeland of Savannah and Mildred Wilkerson of Orlando, Fla. and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Sutton, her parents, Bryant and Lona Burnette, her brother, James Burnette and her sister, Dorothy Dews.

The family would like to thank Trish Gupton and her family in Valdosta for the love and care given to Mrs. Sutton.
