Helen Bostick Oliver

Helen Bostick Oliver, 92, of Jacksonville, FL died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her residence. She was born on April 19, 1922 in Hahira, GA to the late Henry Franklin Bostick and Amanda Lee Linahan Bostick. Mrs. Oliver was a retired secretary from Independent Life Insurance Company of Jacksonville, FL . She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Mrs. Oliver enjoyed painting, sewing and ceramics. She will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Oliver is survived by her daughter, Lynn Benson, two granddaughters, Amanda Pearson (John) and Charlotte Davis (Jason), three great grandsons, Michael Pearson, Jordan Smith and Jonah Davis all of Jacksonville, FL, one brother, Ronald Plair of Hahira, nephew, Chris Bostick of Hahira, two nieces, Sherry Wolfe of Axis, AL and Patsy Pierce of Mobile, AL. She is predeceased by her parents, her husbands, Daniel Gordon Roach and Louis Riley Oliver, brother, Genon Bostick and sister, Juanita Bostick.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 15, 2015 at two p. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Pastor Bill Woodson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from five until seven p. m. Saturday at the funeral home.
