Helen Ann Springer Distefano

Helen Ann DiStefano, 82, of Barney, died on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on September 9, 1938 in Wayne, New Jersey to the late William and Esther France Yahn Springer. She retired after 28 years of service with the Brooks County school system and had worked as a paraprofessional. Mrs. DiStefano was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her husband, Donald DiStefano of Barney; a daughter and son-in-law, Corrine and John McMurray of Arizona; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald DiStefano of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Joseph and Janet DiStefano of Whitesboro, Texas; her grandchildren, Matthew A. Jones (Jenna), Ryan A. Jones (Tracy), Melissa A. Jones, Sarah E. Rivera, Steven A. DiStefano, David W. Morley, Tiffany A. DiStefano, and Josh DiStefano; great-grandchildren, Wyatt L. Odle, Jessie T. Jones, Jasmine A. Jones, Logan A. Jones, Dante D. Jones, Greyson P. Jones, Hope R. Gaeth, Gabe N. DiStefano, and Miley J. DiStefano-Rose.
