Hazel Prentice

HAZEL PRENTICE, 77, of Valdosta died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Heritage House Nursing Home. She was born in Nashville on January 25, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Leon Luke and Grovie Solomon Luke Ellis. Mrs. Prentice was a Baptist and was retired from Pic-N-Save.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Gloria and Larry Daniels of Hahira, four grandsons and granddaughters in law, Greg and Tanya Harrell of St. Mary’s, Chad and Sharon Harrell of Lake Park, Jason and Jane Daniels of Brooks County, Mike and Tami Daniels of Valdosta, 10-great grandchildren, Hannah Harrell, Dyllan Harrell, Taylor Harrell, Logan Harrell, Dalton Harrell, Ellie Grace Daniels, Jacob Daniels, Jackson Daniels, Bud Daniels and Jenna Daniels, four sisters and brothers in law, Marie and Charlie Simpson of Fitzgerald, Bonnie and Ward Segerstrom of Valdosta, Barbara and Ronald Stone of Enigma, Linda and James Cooper of Ray City, two special friends, Evelyn Sylvia of New Jersey and Virginia Curry of Valdosta.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Riverview Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Charlie Simpson and Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
