Hazel Bridwell, 87, died on Friday, November 23, 2018, at her home in Valdosta. Born in Carrollton, Georgia, on June 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late, Charles Maynor and Deanie Cook Hinesley. She was a faithful member of Abundant Life Church of God where she taught Sunday School for forty years. She loved gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Toni Baker of Sulphur Springs, Texas, son and daughter in law, Glynn and Margaret Bridwell of Beaufort, South Carolina, son, Larry Bridwell of Memphis, Tennessee, daughter, Jackie Bridwell of Valdosta, son, Randy Bridwell of Jacksonville, Florida, son and daughter in law, Marty and Anita Bridwell of Gainesville, Georgia, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; nephew, Charles Paul and Dorothy Ballard of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Hinesley Ballard, a brother, Harold Hinesley.
Reverend Wayne Hughes will officiate at funeral services for Mrs. Bridwell on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Church of God. The family will receive friends at 2:00p.m. on Sunday at the church before the service. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
