It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our sweet Hayden West Vinson on November 30, 2020. Hayden was born on June 22, 2010, and is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Bobbie & James Couch of Caledonia, MS and Dean Vinson of Valdosta, GA, also a sister Sawyer Couch, that absolutely adored him. Hayden was born into this world with many challenges that stumped even the greatest of medical minds. Despite these challenges and the brief time that the Lord shared him with us, he left an undeniable impression on everyone whose life he touched. Hayden's Heroes span across the country. He is adored, he is loved, and he was supported by countless people through family, friends, therapists, teachers, doctors and strangers.
Hayden was most happy riding down the road with the window rolled down, the wind blowing in his hair and the biggest smile on his face you have ever seen! Somehow you would find his arm hanging out the window enjoying the freedom the cool breeze offered. Or give him a balloon and watch his face light up. If you made a funny noise you might get his giggle box turned over. It was the simple things that made him most happy. It was the sweet moments that touched us, like holding his hand or listening to the sounds of him talking.
Hayden shared an extraordinary bond with his sister, Sawyer, and they loved spending time together. The unconditional love and complete devotion given to Hayden by his mother, Bobbie, and James was an inspiration to us all. We will honor him by living our best lives, rolling the windows down and enjoying the simple things until we meet again!
Survivors include his mother and step father, Bobbie & James Couch of Caledonia, MS; his father Dean Vinson of Valdosta; his sister, Sawyer Couch of Caledonia, MS; his grandparents, Selina & Glenn Sturgis of Valdosta, Jayne & David Couch of Katy, TX, Jack & Gloria Vinson of Valdosta, Jimmy Hall of Valdosta and Dexter Black of Charleston, SC. Also surviving are great grandparents, Ruby Coppage, Mavis Sturgis, Bob & Shirley Black and Betty Couch and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
