Harry C. Johnson

Harry C. Johnson, 94, of Valdosta died Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his residence after a short illness. He was born on February, 2, 1920 in LaGrange, GA, to the late Lonnie Cleveland Johnson and Edna Nash Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Church of God. He was a United States Army veteran and was retired from the paint and body shop at Moody Air Force Base.

Survivors include a daughter, Lorine Johns of Valdosta and a son and daughter-in-law, Larry C. Johnson (Toni) of Valdosta. Other survivors are 8 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Mae Johnson, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joey Castleberry officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
