Harry Archer Livermore, 80, of Valdosta died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his home. He was born the son of the late Harry Edmond and Sarah Elizabeth Walker Livermore, on November 10, 1934 in Winfield, Kansas. He had lived in Valdosta since 1988. Mr. Livermore was a member of the First Christian Church and the editor of Valdosta Magazine. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Philip and Linda Livermore of Echols Co., Bradley and Norma Livermore of Corpus Christi, TX, two stepsons, Thomas Howell of Rochester, NY and Michael Howell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Thompson Livermore and a step son, Pat Howell.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 29, 2015 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Michael officiating. Burial will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
