Harrison Reid Loyless, 19, of Hahira, died on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. Born In Valdosta, on December 25, 1997, Harrison was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and was a 2016 graduate of Lowndes High School. He enjoyed video games, spending time with his Grandad Frank, watching movies and bowling. An avid football fan, he loved the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Valdosta Wildcats. He held a fascination with any and all things zombie, especially the hit TV series The Walking Dead. Harrison loved good food, his family, and family vacations.
Survivors are his mother and step father, Dee and Ricky Smith of Hahira, his father, James Loyless, Jr. and Misty DuPree of Valdosta; his brother, Hunter (Caitlin) Loyless, Valdosta, and twin brother Hayden (Shelby) Loyless of Hahira; step sister, Liz Smith, step brother, Richard “Skeeter” Smith of Hahira, his maternal grandfather, Frank Wetheringon, Jr. of Hahira; niece and a nephew, Kynlee Loyless and Crispin Loyless; uncle, Trey (Becky) Wetherington, Hahira, aunt, Deidra (Jeff) Frier, Valdosta, Cousins Treb and Zoey Wetherington, numerous cousins and his best friend, Staten Blanton.
Harrison was preceded in death by grandparents, Nelda Jean Wetherington, and Sandy and James Junior Loyless, Sr.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Bussey officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be made online atwww.mclanecares.com.
