Harold Edward Summers

Harold Edward Summers, 31, of Barney, died Saturday, July 14, 2007 at his residence in a house fire. He was born on November 3, 1975 at Moody Air Force Base Hospital to Harold L. and Mary Elizabeth Lewis Summers. Mr. Summers was a carpenter and a member of Barney First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Kerce of Madison, GA, step father, Brady Lee Kerce of Madison, GA, three brothers, James Michael Gilliard of Nichols, GA, David Alan Gilliard of Barney, John Carl Gilliard of Quitman, two step brothers, Christopher Lee Kerce of Valdosta, Donnie Summers of Atlanta, two sisters, Collette Bailey of Hahira and Sheree Summers. Mr. Summers is preceded in death by his father, Harold L. Summers.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007 at eleven a. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Willis officiating.
