Haley Marie Hajek

Haley Marie Hajek, 18, of Boulder, Colorado died Saturday, February 5, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on June 11, 1992 and had lived in Alabama before moving to Boulder one year ago. Haley was a 2010 graduate of Valley Alabama High School where she played on the tennis team. Currently enrolled at the University of Colorado majoring in Physics.

Survivors include her parents, Cary and Angela Simpson Hajek of Boulder, CO. grandparents, Richard and Polly Hajek of Morganton, NC., Dorothy and Roland Edwards of Barney, Connie and James Stothand of LaGrange, GA., aunts and uncles, Gregory (Sandra) Simpson of Morven, Nancy (Stillwell) Hunt of Birmingham, Ala., Gregory (Heather) Hajek of Hamilton, GA., Jeanne (Jon) Easterling of Prattville, Ala., Christy Arnette of Montgomery, Ala. cousins, Cole Simpson of Morven, Alex, Gracie and Sophie Hunt of Birmingham, Ala., Holden and Hudson Hajek of Hamilton, GA., Hannah Flederer, Gracie and Lily Easterling all of Prattville, Ala., Kaleyah and Jordan Arnette of Montgomery, Ala., great aunts and uncles, Donald Hajek of Reno, NV., Dorothy (Peter) Hasse of Bow, GA., Norma Jean Hall of Valdosta, Richard Elkin, Cindy (Jim) Ellison all of Indiana, PA. She was preceded in death by grandparents and great grandparents, Ray Simpson, Helen Hajek, Harvey and Doris Hall, Luther and Claribel Elkin, Norman Simpson and Arla Elkin.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Langdale United Methodist Church in Valley, Ala. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8pm at the Langdale United Methodist Church Family Life Center. Graveside services will be held at 3:30p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at Campground Cemetery in Morven. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com.
