Gordon Ludwig Sandberg

Gordon Ludwig Sandberg, 74, of Lakeland, died on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at South Georgia Medical Center. Formerly of Oxford, Massachusetts, he was born in Worcester and was the son of the late, William H. and Mabel Embair Sandberg. Mr. Sandberg was an Army Veteran and was an iron worker with Condon and Carpenter. He loved to hunt, fish and garden, enjoyed the outdoors and watching tv.
Survivors are his wife of 48 years, Dorothy L. Sandberg of Lakeland; three sons, Gordon J. Sandberg of Worcester, Massachusetts, Paul E. and Renee Sandberg of Grand Canyon, Texas, John P. and Donna Sandberg of Wisconsin; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sandberg will be cremated and no services will be held. Carson McLane Funeral Home is serving the Sandberg family.
