Gordon Lamar Crozier

Lamar Crozier, 82, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Langdale Hospice House. He was born in Atlanta, GA on January 19, 1926 to the late Dr. Gordon Turner and Edith Fannin Crozier. Mr. Crozier was a retired district manager of Gulf Life Insurance Company. He was a United States Army veteran, a member and past commander of the American Legion, a member of the Veteran of Foreign War's and a Methodist.

Mr. Crozier is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Proctor Crozier and is survived by three daughters and sons in law, Elaine and Avery Blanton and Cheryl and David Arnold of Valdosta, Yvonne and Jim Andrews of West Monroe, Louisiana, one son and daughter in law, Grodon and Jan Crozier of West Monroe, Louisiana, eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2008 at ten a. m. at the graveside at Riverview Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m.
