Gloria S. Becton, 73, of Hahira died Friday, August 14, 2015 in Dublin, GA. She was born on May 26, 1942 in Savannah, GA. Mrs. Becton was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Dolan Woods of Dublin, five sons and daughters in law, Ralph and Donna Disque of Athens, GA, Ron Disque of Dublin, Marc Disque of Grey, GA, John and Rika Bass of Japan, Jason and Kristin Bass of Dacula, GA, children, Anita Stinson and her husband, Daniel of Dublin, Betty Cawley of Columbia, SC, Lucretia Noll of Gaston, SC, Tonia Becton and her husband, Nook Nicewater and Benji Becton of Falling Waters, WV, sixteen grandchildren, brother and sister in law, Pete and Sue Hinely of Ludowici, GA and Carolyn Williams of Jesup, GA. Mrs. Becton is preceded in death by her husband, William Bennett "Benny" Becton and daughter, Sheila Brown.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 16, 2015 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Pastor Dolan Woods, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Brooks County. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
