Gloria Caudle

August 19, 1926 — December 25, 2021

Gloria Caudle, age 95, died from a lengthy illness at home, on Christmas Day, with 5 of her 6 children by her side. Her son Tim, her full-time devoted caregiver, along with her other five children were blessed to honor her wishes that she be allowed to remain in her home until her death.

She worked for CC Varnedoe from the age of 16 to 62 years of age, during which time she birthed and raised 6 children, maintained a household, and cared for her aging aunt.

After retirement she and her husband, Alex, built their dream home on Lake Seminole where she enjoyed her life working in the yards, boating, and her greatest passion, reading. Her most notable character was that she never complained, ever. Regardless of any adversity that she experienced, she was always cheerful and encouraging to all, loved the Lord with all her heart, and was a prayer warrior for her family.

She is survived by three sons, Gary (Rhonda) Caudle of Lake Park, Mark (Mary) Caudle of Tallahassee, Florida, Tim Caudle of Donalsonville, and three daughters, Lyn McLaurin( Evon) of Macon, Chris ( Max) Austin of Hahira, and Connie (Charlie) Register of Hahira. She was deeply loved by her 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex; five siblings, Jack Stalvey, Carolyn Cowart, Lawrence Stalvey, Ralph Stalvey; her grandson Brian McLaurin; and son-in-laws, Evon Mclaurin and Mac McRae.
