Glenn R. Geren

Glenn R. Geren, 59, of Valdosta, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at South GA Medical Center. He was born on August 5, 1957 in Bloomington, Indiana to Jerry Harney Geren and Joanna Mae Cline Geren. Glenn was a member of Dasher Church of Christ and Central Church of Christ. He was an honorary member of the Gainesville, GA and Fitzgerald, GA Lions Club, a Mason and Shriner. During high school Glenn was in the Lowndes High School marching band.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Geren, daughter and son in law, Hilary Amber Geren and Jerry Alan "Dean", and his mother, Joanna Geren, all of Valdosta. Glenn is preceded in death by his father, Jerry H. Geren, father in law, Stacey Cravey and mother in law, Maxine Cravey.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 2:30 p. m. at Dasher Church of Christ with Mr. David Nelson and Mr. John Klimko officiating. Burial will follow at Dasher Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p. m. at the church. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
