Glenn Leroy Amick

Glenn Leroy Amick, 67, of Valdosta died Friday, January 29, 2010 at his home. He was born on September 23, 1942 in Clark County, Indiana to the late Gerald Leroy and Mildred Louise Dickey Amick and had lived in Valdosta for the past two years. Mr. Amick was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam and retired from Bridgestone/Firestone Company after thirty two years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Amick, his son and daughter in law, Bryan Scott and Melissa Amick, his granddaughter, Gabrielle Amick all of Valdosta, two sisters, Wanda Hardwick of Illinois and Ruth Trower of Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Ward officiating. Graveside services will be held at 12:30pm, Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.
