Ginger Parr Johnson, 50, of Nashville, died suddenly on Monday, May 28, 2007, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville. Mrs. Johnson was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1957, the daughter of the late Ruby Gladys Keen and Virgil H. Parr, Jr. She had made her home in Berrien County for the past 30 years. She was a homemaker and a member of New Covenant Church.
Survivors are her husband, Gary Johnson of Nashville; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and David Godwin of Valdosta, son and daughter-in-law, Dwane and Charlotte Johnson of Nashville; grandchildren, Sierra Griner of Nashville, Daniel Weaver and Dawson Godwin of Valdosta; sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Thomas Rice of Ray City, brother and sister-in- law, Tim and Brooke Hoke Parr of Ray City; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007, at 2 p.m. at New Covenant Church in Valdosta with Pastor Randy Stephen officiating. Burial will follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens in Nashville.
