Gilbert "Gil" Dillon

Gilbert “Gil” Dillon, 65, of Valdosta died Friday, October 5, 2007 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on June 29, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Dillon worked at ADM as a Grain Merchandiser and attended Northside Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Beard Dillon of Valdosta; son and daughter in law, Brian and MaryAnn Dillon of Evansville, IN; daughters and sons in law, Kim and Andrew Congdon of Shipshewana, IN, Elissa and Jeff Davidson of Evansville, IN; son, Matthew Dillon of Valdosta; mother, Catherine Betz Dillon of Cincinnati, OH; brothers and sisters in law Tom and Judy Dillon of Bloomington, IN, Jack and Marion Dillon of Cincinnati, OH and a sister, Janet Ramsey also of Cincinnati. Mr. Dillon was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Frances Dillon.

A visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Carson McLane Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in Cincinnati, OH at Dalbert Woodruff Funeral Home.
