Gerardo Garibay, Jr.

Gerardo Garibay, Jr., 26, of Valdosta died Monday, September 11, 2006 in Waycross from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Garibay was born in Los Angeles, California on January 7, 1980 and had lived in Valdosta for six years. Mr. Garibay had served in the United States Air Force and was currently a civilian fireman at Moody Air Force Base.

Survivors include his wife, Adrienne Garibay of Valdosta, his father, Gerardo Garibay, Sr. of Los Angeles, Calif., his mother and stepfather, Irma Ramirez and Joseph Daniel Montreal of Los Angeles, Calif. one sister, Ariana Garibay of Los Angeles, Calif., three brothers, Alex Garibay, Joshua Garibay and Stephen Garibay all of Los Angeles, California, his parents in law, Jerry and Maria Capodieci of Florida and brother in law, Paul Capodieci of Valdosta.

A memorial service for Mr. Garibay will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at the Moody Air Force Base Chapel with Father Omana officiating.
