Geraldine S. Oliver

Geraldine S. Oliver, 71, of Valdosta, died Monday, March 19, 2007 at Smith Northview Hospital. She was born on March 18, 1936 in Coffee County, GA to the late George and Joan Merritt Swails. Mrs. Oliver was a 1954 graduate of Pearson High School, a member of Northside Baptist Church, a member of the Valdosta Exchange Club and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Don Oliver of Valdosta, three sons and daughters in law, David F. and Deloris Oliver of Valdosta, Anthony and Joni Oliver of Cumming, GA, Shawn and Jamie Oliver of Dallas, GA, five grandchildren, Dave Oliver Jr., Jarrod Oliver, Betsy Joanna Oliver, Brandon Oliver and Dillon Oliver, one sister, Bess Pryor of Jacksonville, FL.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2007 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Reddick, Reverend Bob Willis and Reverend Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from seven until nine p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
