Geraldine Litwak, 84, of Valdosta, GA, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006. Mrs. Litwak was born in Detroit, MI, and lived in Charlotte, NC, from 1957 to 2005 where she was a devoted member of Temple Israel and it’s sisterhood and Hadassah.

Mrs. Litwak was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Litwak, her beloved daughter, Deborah Mixer, her sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Ray Clamage and her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Thelma Faber. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Louis Schmier of Valdosta, GA; her son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence Litwak and Debby Faber of Newton, MA; her son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Michael Mixer and Kathryn Marunick of Ann Arbor, MI; and her brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Ginny Faber of West Bloomfield, MI. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 and 8/9 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the Ira Kaufman Chapel in Southfield, MI, with burial to follow at the Adat Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or to a charity of your choice.
