Geraldine Castleberry Carroll

Geraldine Castleberry Carroll, 86, of Lake Park, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Lakehaven Nursing Home.

She was born August 31, 1928 in Thomaston, a daughter of the late Grady P. Castleberry, Sr. and Lola Lona Garrett Castleberry. Mrs. Carroll had been a Secretary with Rhone-Poulence in Atlanta, and had moved to Lake Park in 2000 from Lithia Springs to be closer to family. She was a member of Lithia Springs United Methodist Church and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her three children, Jack Donald Carroll, Jr. of Oxford, AL, Elaine Chamberlain of Lake Park, and Raleigh Wayne Carroll and wife Sharon of Marietta; six grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Jerri Elaine Dutton of Lake Park; many great-grandchildren, including Ansley Dutton, Hunter Dutton and Chase Massey; and several great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Donald Carroll, Sr., and a brother, Paul Castleberry.
