George William O'Lary

George O’Lary, 78, of Valdosta, died on February 17, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on September 7, 1927 in Beaumont, TX, to the late George Mitchell and Amelia McDonald O’Lary. He was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church in Macon. He retired as an Attorney and Minister and owned his own Law Firm in Missouri and served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving include a cousin, Patricia Hackett of Valdosta; two brothers, Robert O’Lary and Michael O’Lary of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Claudie Balcziunas, McRae. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Frances O’Lary.

The will be a private family committal in the Riverside Drive Cemetery in Macon, GA.
