George Oliver Hayes, 53, of Valdosta died on Sunday, October 30, 2011, at Langdale Hospice House. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 2:00 o’clock in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Lonnie Graham will officiate.

Survivors are his mother, Ellener Bishop Hayes of Valdosta, and sisters, Alveena Statum of Valdosta and Ethel Hayes Swinson of Lake Park.
