Geneva Webb, 85, Hahira passed away on Friday March 6, 2020 at the home of her daughter and son in law after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Louis H. and Ruzell (Hembree) Cotton of Hahira, Georgia. She was born on August 9, 1934 in Maysville, Banks County Georgia. Geneva was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Hahira. She enjoyed community service as a volunteer for 14 years with the ladies auxiliary at South Georgia Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughters and sons in law Debbie (Dan) Lewis of Hahira, Brenda (Robert) Freeman of Valdosta, sons Sandy Moran of Valdosta, Henry Moran, Jr. of Cocoa, Florida, Jimmy (Sheryl) Webb of Nashville, Georgia, and Lovell Webb Florida. She leaves her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her late husbands Henry Moran, Sr., and John C. Webb, a son David Webb of Hahira Georgia, a daughter in law Tammy Moran of Cocoa Florida, and brothers and sister in law Louis H. (Glenda) Cotton Jr. and James Cotton.
The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Hospice of South Georgia for the comfort and care they provided. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia - Langdale Hospice House.
A funeral service for Mrs. Webb will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home.
