Gary Albert Murray

Gary Albert Murray, 63, of Valdosta died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was born in Syracuse, New York on October 26, 1947 to the late Leon and Tara McIntyre Murray. Mr. Murray had lived in Salisbury, North Carolina prior to moving to Valdosta four years ago. He was a retired self employed truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Murray of Valdosta, one son, Gary Murray of Syracuse, NY., one daughter, Leona Ortiz of Syracuse, NY., stepson, David Thatcher of Valdosta, stepdaughters, Denise Dickey of Valdosta and Lorena Bennett of Chesapeake, VA., 11- step grandchildren, 2-step great grandchildren, one brother, David Murray of Weedsports, NY.
