Freda Gibson

Freda Gibson, 80, of Valdosta, died at Lakehaven Nursing Home on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Born in Paris, Arkansas on October 30, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Fred Lafayette Minyard and Nina Ailene Tucker Minyard. Freda worked in sales at various stores including RevCo and Fred's. Formerly of Russellville, Arkansas she had made her home in Valdosta for the past year and half. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty four years, James M. Gibson.

Survivors are her children, Peggy Eichenberger of Russellville, Arkansas, Steve Gibson of Russellville, Arkansas, Sandra and husband Mark Soliz of Valdosta, GA, Sam and wife Jacqueline of Gunter, Texas, Jazmyn Gibson of Valdosta, GA, and Judy Gibson of Dover, Arkansas. Other survivors include ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
