Frank D. Harrison

Frank D. Harrison passed away peacefully holding his wife’s hand on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Frank was born to Charles Horatio Harrison and Agnes Krazit Harrison on August 13, 1948, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a veteran having enlisted in the Air Force in 1969 and retiring in 1995. Frank was truly a good man with a loving and giving heart who took great pleasure in helping others in any way possible. He dearly loved his family as well as his large extended family. He was a strong energetic man who enjoyed walking early in the morning, playing golf with his friends and spending hours working in the beautiful yard he created. In his few still moments, he liked sitting on our back deck keeping Patches (our cat) occupied so she didn’t go after the birds he just fed. Frank so loved and enjoyed his life, his family, and the many friends he felt blessed to have known.

For those of us who felt blessed to have known him, he will be forever missed and remembered. Frank (or as his wife lovingly called him “Harrison”) you hold a special place in all our hearts. We love you.

Frank Harrison is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte (Charlie) Harrison, son Travis Harrison and daughter-in-law Janet Miller; sister Sandy Montague and husband Terry, sister Julie Dickens and husband Jack; sisters-in-law Cathy Harrison and Sherry Harrison.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Tracy Harrison, brothers Charles (Buddy) Harrison and John (Johnny) Harrison.
