Frank C. Newbern

Frank C. Newbern passed away Friday, November 6, 2009, at St. Francis Medical Center Hospice, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born May 2, 1926 in Valdosta, to the late James F. and Cora Herndon Newbern. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Metairie, Louisiana. Mr. Newbern was a graduate of the University of Georgia and he had served in the United States Navy. He moved to Oklahoma and later to New Orleans where he retired from Continental Claims Corporation.

Mr. Newbern was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Brennan Newbern. He is survived by two sisters and brothers in law, William and Carolyn Hill, John and Sara Peters of Valdosta, a brother in law and sister in law, Michael F. and Alice M. Brennan of Tulsa, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
