Frances Watson

Frances Lee (Johnson) Watson, 86, of Valdosta, GA, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Frances was born on October 3, 1936, daughter of the late David C. and Nancy (Walker) Johnson and was the loving wife of the late Robert “Bobby” Watson and was also predeceased by a brother, Mike Johnson and a sister EJ Burgees.

Frances’s joy in life was her family, especially her great and great-great grandchildren. She loved the Wildcats and was an avid cook, loved the ocean and was proud of her Catholic faith. She was a strong woman that will be deeply missed by all those that had the privilege of being known and loved by her.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie (Snoozy) Marchant and husband Paul of Valdosta, GA and Robin Williams and husband Jerry of Valdosta, GA; three grandchildren, Lindsay Cooper and husband Drew of Valdosta, GA, Caitlin Williams of Valdosta, GA and Tiffany Green of Valdosta, GA; two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Anna Cooper and a great-great-grandson, Zaire Cooper; a brother, David “Tommy” Johnson and wife Suzanne of Tifton, GA; a brother-in-law, Mike Burgess of Valdosta, GA and a loving friend of the family, Nate Sixberry of Maine as well as many dear and loving friends.
