Frances Guess Hall, 65 of Albany, died on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Palmyra Park Hospital in Albany after a short illness. Born on March 6, 1941 in Valdosta, she was the daughter of the late H. C. and Mallie Dees Guess. Mrs. Hall was a graduate of Valdosta High School and attended Valdosta State University. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, jogging, loved her pets and traveling. She was a member of Radium Springs Baptist Church in Albany.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon Hall of Albany; daughters and son-in-law, Tippy Davis Southall and William Southall, Leslie Ann McLean all of Valdosta; grandchildren, Kacie Ann McLean and Dylan Paul McLean both of Valdosta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Lucinda Guess of Valdosta, Charles and Donna Guess of Jacksonville, FL; nephews, Jordan Guess, Ryan Guess, Clay Guess, Sam Guess and a niece, Missy Guess Ford. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Little Tommy Guess.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2006 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
