Frances G. Rogers Graham, 88, of Valdosta, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on May 10, 1934 in Vidalia, GA to the late James R. Grimes and Ruby Kea Grimes. She retired from South Georgia Medical Center where she worked in public relations and was selected as “Employee of the Year” in 1996. She enjoyed reading and crocheting blankets. She loved to spend time with her family, baking and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy A. Graham, of Valdosta; her son and daughter-in-law, Marcus W. Rogers and Gale Rogers, of Dublin, GA; grandson Wayne Boone, of Valdosta and his wife along with four great grandchildren; granddaughter and her husband, Missy Boone-Fielding and Derric Fielding of Valdosta; grandson, Andrew Rogers, of Dublin, GA; granddaughter and her husband, Leah Rogers Mathis and Garrett Mathis, of Dublin, GA; great granddaughters, Madelyn Rogers, Anna Rogers, Addyson Fielding, Ashlyn Fielding, Calah Mathis great grandsons, Cullen Mathis, and Caleb James Fielding. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband James B. Rogers, daughter, Patricia A. Boone and brother Jerome Grimes.
Funeral services for Frances will be held at 11am on Monday, October 3, 2022 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Drive, Valdosta, GA 31602.
