Frances (Fran) Schreffler Taylor, 58, of Hahira died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Langdale Hospice House following complications of a stroke. Ms. Taylor was born on May 1, 1958 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and had lived in Hahira and Leesburg. She was a member of The Pointe Church in Leesburg and a Registered Nurse with Phoebe Putney Hospital. She loved nursing, her grandchildren and nephew and was a wonderful caretaker.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Robert Orr of Ft. Myers, FL, Kyle Patrick Orr of Leesburg; two grandchildren, Parker Robert Orr, Kayden McKenzie Orr; her mother, Charlene Schreffler of Hahira; three brothers, William David and Gwen Schreffler of Houston, TX, Keith Daniel and Krista Schreffler of Arlington, VA, Kevin Allen Schreffler and Andrew Angier of Atlanta; her nephew, Alexander Grey Schreffler; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant son, James Steven Orr, Jr., her father Robert (Bob) Daniel Schreffler, her grandparents, William M. and Ruth Virginia Sargent Sessions, David Raymond and Florence Agnes Witmer Schreffler.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11am, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday at the Sumner Cemetery in Sumner, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
