Frances Dean Nichols

Frances Dean Nichols, 95, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, November 29, 2008, at Langdale Hospice House. Born on December 25, 1912 in Madison, South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Ovid Ray and Mary Dean Fitts Nichols. Dr. Nichols was a physician and a surgeon. She was associated with her late brother, George Nichols and Nichols Homes and was active in the Home Builders Association.

Surviving are her nieces, Bette Jean Daugharty and her husband, Robert T. Daugharty of Valdosta, and Dean Brooks of Valdosta; great nephews, Nic Daugharty of Valdosta, Wright and Lisa Brooks of Atlanta, Burton Brooks also of Atlanta.
