Frances Anna Mcmillan Chastain

Frances Anna McMillan Chastain, 61, of Valdosta died on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Langdale Hospice House following a lengthy illness. She was born in Valdosta, Georgia on March 16, 1954 and has been a lifelong resident of this area. She had been employed with the Lowe's Distribution Center as a forklift operator. Mrs. Chastain was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Vickie McMillan of Overland, Kansas; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and John Williams of Valdosta; a brother, Paul Selph of Valdosta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Barbara Selph of Valdosta, Frank and Carolyn McMillan of Quitman, Ken and Nina McMillan of Valdosta; a special friend, Cindy Averitt of Hahira; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Chastain and her parents, Franklin, Sr. and Ruth McMillan.

A graveside service for Frances Anna McMillan Chastain will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Bro. Arthur Ponder officiating. Interment will follow the service. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane.
