Floyd Lee Parker, 68, of Adel, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Memorial Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Irwin County on November 2, 1938 to the late Robert Lonnie and Leila Watson Parker. Mr. Parker owned and operated Valdosta Radio and TV.
He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Cam and Sarah Parker of Toccoa, Kevin and Angie Parker of Statesboro, one daughter and son in law, Tami and Jimmy Berube of Hahira, five grandchildren, Josh Parker, Ben Parker, Louie Parker, Sydney Parker and Katelyn Parker, many nieces, nephews and friends at Memorial Convalescent Center who gave their loving care. Mr. Parker is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and sister in law, James and Geneva Parker and infant sister, Christine Parker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at eleven a. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Harris Whitman officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Berlin, GA. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Friday at the funeral home.
