Florence May Swindoll

Florence M. Swindoll, 91, of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 after a short illness at the Langdale Hospice House. Born in Apalachicola, FL on June 30, 1916, she was the daughter of Mary Reese and John Scarabin. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Moye of Donalsonville; son, Lawless Barrientos of Centennial, CO; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Swindoll was preceded in death by her parents, oldest daughter and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. on Thursday, February 21, 2008 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Father Dan O'Connell officiating. Cremation will follow.
