Fannie Lee Hill, 82, of Quitman, died on Thursday, February 20. 2025, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on September 13, 1942, in Barney, Georgia to the late William Walter and Georgia Elizabeth Youngblood Hill. Ms. Hill retired from the State of Georgia having served in the administrative department at the Troupeville prison. She had a love for learning, was a master cross-stitcher, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Valdosta.
She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Darrell and Dianne Hill of Perry, Florida. She was preceded by her siblings, William Hardy Hill, Walter Richard Hill, Ronald Louis Hill, Shirley Ann Coleman, and Brenda Latrelle Cockcroft.
Services for Fannie Lee Hill will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church of Valdosta with Rev. Mac Weaver officiating on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery in Morven. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
