Evelyn Virginia Griffin Jabon Copeland

Evelyn Virginia Griffin Jabon Copeland, 79, of Valdosta died Tuesday, November 15, 2016. She was born on May 16, 1937 in Valdosta to the late Reuben B. Griffin and Juanita Ray Griffin. Mrs. Copeland was a Cosmetologist and a Methodist.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Steve and Melissa Jabon of Atlanta, two daughters, Pamela Jabon of Valdosta and Karen Jabon of Pinetta, FL, grandchildren, Daphne Fletcher King (Kevin) and their three sons, Lily Grace Jabon, her sister, Betty Jean Griffin Kinsey of Valdosta, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Copeland is preceded in death by her son, Phillip Vernon Jabon her brother, Terrell Griffin and her husband, Rouse Philip Copeland.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at two p. m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Dr. Bob Moon officiating. Burial will follow.
