Evelyn M. Tucker

Evelyn M. Tucker, 68, of Valdosta died Monday, March 9, 2015 at her residence. She was born on April 15, 1946 in Cochran, GA to the late Albert Jefferson Turner and Nettie Brady Turner. Mrs. Tucker was a homemaker and a member of North Valdosta Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Billy D. Tucker of Valdosta, son, Billy J. Tucker of Valdosta, daughter, Renee Foy and her fiancé, Eddie White of Valdosta, four grandchildren, Robert J. Tucker, Amber B. Bailey, Timmy Lyons and Tommy Lyons, three great grandchildren, Lundyn Tucker, Conner Tucker and Elijah Kreed, brother and sister in law, Buddy and Marilyn Turner of Valdosta, two sisters, Joann Thornton of Lake Park and Carolyn Dixon of Lakeland, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tucker is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bobby Turner and sister, Brenda Selph.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at eleven a. m. at North Valdosta Church of God, 3492 Mt. Zion Church Road, Valdosta, GA with Pastor Johnny Quarterman officiating. She will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery.
