Evelyn C. Culpepper of Echols County died Friday, February 11, 2022 at Suwanee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City, FL. She was born September 20, 1940 to the late Clifton & Minnie Combass of White Springs, FL. She was a homemaker, an active member of Bethel Church of God in Echols County where she taught Sunday school for many years, and was very involved in the Ladies Ministries Group. She enjoyed cooking for her family and others, traveling with the love of her life, and watching game shows.
She is survived by her three children, David Culpepper, of Hamilton County, FL, Donald Culpepper of Echols, County, and Allison (Shiloh) Craven, of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Norman Jean Combass, of Dowling Park, FL and Lorene Carter of Echols County; a brother-in-law, Mark Culpepper of Echols County; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver, Tami Platt, of Echols County. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Billy D. Culpepper; her brother, J.L. Combass; and her sister, Ernestine Foster.
A visitation will be held at Carter Cemetery on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10 A.M., followed by a graveside service at 11 A.M. with Reverend Daryl Pate officiating.
